2. Description
The ultrasonic object/liquid level sensor is installed on the upper part of the container, and under the functional control of the combined unit and electronic components, the probe emits a beam of ultrasonic pulses to the measured object. The sound wave is reflected by the surface of the object, and part of the reflected echo is received by the probe and converted into an electrical signal. The time from ultrasonic emission to re-reception is proportional to the distance from the probe to the measured object. The electronic unit detects this time and calculates the measured distance from the known speed of sound so that the level value can be calculated. Since temperature has an effect on the velocity of sound, the meter should measure temperature to correct for the velocity of sound. There are many options for the four-wire system, which can support 4-20mA and RS485 communication at the same time.
In addition to low power consumption, they also have excellent corrosion resistance.In the measurement, the pulsed ultrasonic wave is sent by the sensor (transducer), and the sound wave is received by the same sensor after being reflected by the surface of the object, and converted into an electrical signal, and the distance between the sensor and the measured object is calculated by the time between the emission and reception of the sound wave . Since the anti-corrosion ultrasonic level gauge adopts non-contact measurement, the measured medium is almost unlimited, and it can be widely used to measure the height of various liquids and solid materials.
3.Low power consumption mode

How to realize the low power consumption ultrasonic level and distance sensor
a) Use low power ICs
We use almost new ICs by wich the power consumption is normally low.
b) Controll the power of each circuit in the sensor.
There are three parts of the circuit in the sensor, the transmitting circuit, the receiving circuit and the basic circuit of the mcu. The mcu realizes power consumption management by enabling control of the work of each part of the circuit, and then controls the power consumption.
c) When the mcu itself is not working, it enters sleep mode to further reduce power consumption.
4.Installation conditions
If the sensor is installed at the environment temperature fall below 0℃, It should do well on the protective measures. In case of direct mounting of the sensor in a through hole using the steel nuts, it has to be fixed at the middle of the housing thread.
